BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Heavy snow and gusty winds are making travel difficult in North Dakota.

Minot Public Schools, North Dakota Department of Human Services offices in Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Minot and Williston and Grand Forks county and city buildings are among places that have a delayed opening Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of the northern two-thirds of North Dakota until noon. The warning area is along and north of Interstate 94.

Heavy snow is expected, with some areas getting up to 10 inches (25 centimeters). Winds gusting up to 35 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow. Wind chills could drop as low as minus 35 (minus 37 Celsius).
